About East Cobb Middle School
More than 1,300 Cobb County students in grades 6, 7 and 8.
Cobb County’s largest middle school.
Feeder elementary schools: Brumby, East Valley, Powers Ferry, Sedalia Park, Sope Creek
High school: Wheeler High School and its magnet program, the Center for Advanced Studies in Science, Math and Technology, are located across the street from East Cobb Middle. This “one big campus” means a more seamless transition to high school and offers great benefits for both schools.
East Cobb Middle School’s enrollment is economically, ethnically and racially diverse.
East Cobb Middle offers its students a full range of academic and extracurricular opportunities. In particular, ECMS has curriculum strengths in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and Intensive English Language (IEL).
