Can you help with some of these needs for our classrooms?
The ECMS Foundation asked our teachers for a list of items that would make life in the classroom better for them and our children. The list is quite modest, and with your help, we can grant these wishes to our teachers.
To donate, please email Beth Day or Toi Wilson. You may donate the amount via PayPal here (be sure to note the purpose of your donation). If you’d like to purchase the item directly or donate something you already have, contact Beth or Toi to arrange this. The Foundation will deliver your donation to the appropriate classroom on your behalf and provide you with a receipt for your charitable contribution.
Virtual Frog Dissection Software
For just $300 for the whole school, our 7th graders will have a full year’s access to Froguts virtual frog dissection software. Go ahead: take a look at this! (Includes home use, too!). PDF brochure
“This is the only tape that will work to hang an art show! The art department would appreciate any Gorilla Tape so we can hang artwork for exhibition. With ‘Night of the Arts’ coming on May 10, we will be using tons of Gorilla Tape for all the art that will be on display. Any donation is appreciated! Many thanks.” – Art teacher Angela Lockman.
Subscriptions to Current Science Magazine
Our science teachers have requested subscriptions to Current Science magazine from Weekly Reader. An annual subscription costs $10.15 per student and includes print and digital editions, teacher guides and online trivia.
Our teachers have asked for at least one subscription per classroom — and class sets would be ideal. Check out the magazine here >
First Aid Kits for Each Classroom
Our teachers want to make sure they are equipped for life’s little accidents. They are requesting a first aid kit for each classroom. This kit would include…
- an assortment of band aids
- antiseptic spray such as Bactine or Neosporin
- first aid/antibacterial wipes
Color Ink Cartridges
There are 14 Lexmark C782 printers at ECMS. Teachers would love to have color ink for them!

Media Center Reading Room Furnishings
Can you donate new or gently used furniture for a comfortable reading area in the back of the media center at the magazine rack? Sort of a Starbucks without the Frappuccino! We need a few comfy chairs and an attractive table with chairs. RECEIVED – Thank you!
Teacher’s Lounge Furnishings
Our teachers need a few appliances and furnishings for their lounge. If you can donate any of the following, our teacher’s would greatly appreciate it…
- new coffee maker
