Challenge Day 2013 January 21, 2013Posted by BDay in Uncategorized.
A Big “Thank You!”
Since 2008, 3,000 people — 2,400 students and 600 adult volunteers — have been changed by the experience of Challenge Day at ECMS. Each of those six years, about 400 students and 100 adults experienced first-hand how taking the risk to connect with others breaks down the barriers among people of different backgrounds. Students learned how to connect with classmates outside their comfort zone. And theypledged to do their part to make ECMS a place where every child feels safe, loved and celebrated.
It costs about $40 per student to bring Challenge Day to EMCS. Please donate >

The East Cobb Middle School Foundation raises funds from the community for resources the county, state and federal government do not provide. Our board volunteers work closely with the school’s administration, teachers and PTSA.
This is a critical time for the school to continue building on the momentum of recent years in the face of budget cuts and other challenges.
Use these pages to learn more about our work, including Challenge Day, and how you can help.
The mission of the East Cobb Middle School Foundation is to support the students and staff of ECMS by raising funds and providing resources to support programs that are in alignment with the school’s mission.
Our vision is a school embraced by its community, where all students realize their potential, where striving for excellence is the norm, and where every student feels safe, loved, and celebrated.
